  Adopt A Special Kid believes that every child has the right to a safe, stable and nurturing home and that all children are adoptable. Adopt A Special Kid provides education and support services to adoptive and foster families and children. We promote positive changes to benefit children who are in the child welfare system.

The application for the 2010 Dorothy and Robert DeBolt Scholarship is now available. Informational Workshops for Interested Families

We'd love to have you come learn about our no-cost adoption services for foster kids. Prospective parents interested in foster care or adoption begin by attending a free informational workshop.  An AASK social worker will present an overview of the child welfare system and the foster care and adoption processes.  Parents can ask questions in a comfortable atmosphere and schedule an initial interview with a social worker.

Introductory workshops are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:00-9:00.  Our upcoming workshops will take place on the following dates:

February 9, 2010
March 9, 2010
April 13, 2010
May 11, 2010
